I do my hair first so that my powder dry shampoo has extra time to absorb. I apply it to my roots even when my hair isn't dirty for extra volume (I use Nutrafol which has helped with thickening but my hair gets greasy so fast and then it looks thinner which is annoying). Another thing I've gotten careful with is what brush I'm using. I use this Crown Affair brush is meant for dry hair, plus it actually has grooves that help massage your scalp. I've noticed less breakage since I started using this.
Okay so I've talked about NuFace on Instagram before but I love it. Pricey but really helps snatch your face. I use this once every couple of days.
I then combine the Kosas sunscreen and illuminating enhancer in sheer light medium, which provides SPF and acts like a tinted moisturizer. On days I'm in a rush I'll use only these two things for a little extra coverage - also really great for workouts or beach days where you know you'll be sweating since it's lightweight.
When I want more coverage I use the Saie serum foundation and the RMS cream foundation.
So at night I use the Mary Phillips technique and put on contour BEFORE foundation, but for a more subtle daytime look I do this step after applying my base. I add this contour stick to my jawline and cheekbones then add a pop of this blush stick in petal and blend it upward with a brush.
Everyone on tiktok is obsessed with this Charlotte Tilbury highlighter and that's because its so fucking good. I then use the Merit complexion stick for concealer on my undereyes and I'll add an extra swipe of blush with this Chanel palette in rose bronze that I've used for years now.
I'm all about fuller brows lately. I use the Kosas eyebrow pencil to define and then go in with the brow gel to keep everything in place.
I've been using this liquid eyeliner lately. The pen is really easy to hold in your hand so it's easy to get a small wing without making it too thick. For lashes, I curl them and then go in with the Saie mascara. It's buildable but I usually only do one coat during the day.
I use a liner to outline and then go in with the Kosas lip oil in the color dip for a daytime look. It's actually plumping too but doesn't burn and it's not sticky either.
