Love Thyself

I know everyone says “I’m running late” in their GRWM videos but I legit only had 30 minutes to get ready for an Oscars party. I used this photo of Camila Morrone from Instagram (makeup artist is the amazing Mary Phillips) for inspo but had to improvise because I didn’t have the exact products used. So here’s what I did. 

First I put on moisturizer and bronzing drops and put on these eye masks so I don’t get eyeshadow fallout. I used this Charlotte Tilbury palette which has a super shimmery gray shade. Honestly I just spread it all around my eyelid and in my waterline. I’m obsessed with this Victoria Beckham eyeliner. It lines perfectly (super dark and pigmented) but the best part is there’s a smudger so you blend out any fuckups along the way. I also put it in my waterline. 

Ok moving on to contour. I used the Mary Phillips technique where you contour before putting on any foundation. It looks weird but trust the process because I swear it comes out so well. I also put on Chanel blush before foundation. I’ve recently become obsessed with the RMS cream foundation and then I add this Kosas product for extra glow. It’s called an “enhancer” because it basically takes any foundation and makes it more dewy. Again I know it feels weird that you’re applying this on top of contour but it really comes out so good. Blend it in with this Hourglass foundation brush.

Makeup is almost finished now. I used the Charlotte Tilbury setting powder because I’ll be sweating and I need this shit to stay on all night. I also add extra Chanel blush because why not. Very last step is lips. I just got filler and my lips are a little swollen but I’m using the Charlotte Tilbury liner. I switch back between this one and the Victoria Beckham one so I keep both in my bag.  

Now for hair. I washed my bangs but the rest of it is dirty (honestly idk what I do without dry shampoo) so I decided to put it in a sort of messy updo. I wrapped a strand of hair around the elastic (best hack for making you look like you tried and it takes like 2 seconds) and then I pinned it back into a loose bun. Also you need one of those traditional black hair ties for this to last because if you use a silky scrunchie your hair will fall out in like five minutes.
